Scoreo Privacy Policy
This policy applies to all information collected or submitted in the Scoreo app.
Information we collect
Scoreo stores game, player, and score information on your device and uses Apple’s iCloud service to sync it across devices signed in to your Apple Account. We don’t have access to the game, player, or score information in your iCloud account.
Apple provides aggregate app usage and crash statistics, which we use to improve Scoreo’s functionality and stability. Apple handles this data under its own privacy policy.
We also collect usage events, such as creating a game with four players or viewing a line graph. Our servers store these events under a randomly generated identifier that can sync across your devices through iCloud. This lets us estimate things like how many games people create over time. We don’t associate this identifier with your name, email address, or Apple Account. We also use it to associate Apple Ads attribution with usage events when attribution is available.
We use Sentry to diagnose crashes and monitor performance. Sentry may also receive masked recordings of the app’s interface. In these recordings, colored blocks obscure on-screen content while preserving the layout, which helps us identify which screen was open when a problem occurred.
Data retention and deletion
Sentry retains diagnostic data for 30 days. Scoreo’s usage analytics and Apple Ads attribution records have no automatic expiration.
You can delete saved games in Scoreo. Scoreo stores usage analytics under a random app identifier. We can’t match that identifier to your name, email address, or Apple Account, and Scoreo doesn’t currently provide a way for you to retrieve it. This limits our ability to locate and delete analytics records in response to a request.
Children’s Privacy
Scoreo is a general-audience app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we’ve collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@eriksargent.me so we can investigate.
